HYDERABAD: Wood panel manufacturer Greenpanel has expanded its annual medium density fibreboard (MDF) manufacturing capacity from 6.6 lakh cubic metres (CBM) to 8.91 lakh cbm with the addition of a new production line at its facility at Srikalahasti in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The company also said with this expansion it has also diversified its product portfolio by introducing a thin MDF range from 1.5 mm to 1.7 mm to cater to the growing demand for precision-engineered MDF solutions across various applications with the use of ContiPress Technology (Dieffenbacher CPS+) at its new MDF line.
Greenpanel has two manufacturing plants in Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh where it produces MDF, plywood, pre-laminated MDF, and wooden flooring.
